STEPHEN A. BASILE PRESIDENT

Mr. Basile was born in Boston Massachusetts in 1953, son to Gloria and Albert Basile, little brother to Kathy Basile, and big brother to Lynn Silva.

Steve grew up and attended schools in Watertown, MA and graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelors degree in Business 1975. He obtained his MBA in Marketing, from Babson College in 1983.

Steve has spent over 40 years in the pharmaceutical industry, serving in many senior level Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Management positions. He continues to be active in many industry associations, and has recently retired from Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Spear Dermatology Products, Inc.

Steve was married to his wife, Lisa, for 39 years. Sadly Lisa passed in November of 2020 and since then a new scholarship program has been added to the foundation in her honor. Lisa held a Masters in Fine Arts, has been an Art Teacher, and was a loving and creative person. Steve and Lisa have two wonderful children. Their son Ryan is a 2008 graduate of Skidmore College, and earned his Masters Degree in Fine Arts in Visual Communication at The Art Institute of Chicago in 2011. He currently owns his own Letter Press Business in Chicago and has been married for 6 years to his husband Julio. His daughter Krista is a 2012 graduate of Loyola University in Baltimore, majoring in Psychology. She finished her Masters program at the Bloomberg School of Public Health, Johns Hopkins University. Krista is currently the Director of The Children's Psychology Department at UCLA. Krista has been married for 5 years to her wife Andy and they have two beautiful sons, Luca 3 and Enzo 1.

LYNN A. SILVA VICE PRESIDENT

Ms. Silva was born in Boston, Massachusetts on January 3, 1958. Daughter to Gloria and Al Basile, she is affectionately known as “little sista” to Kathy and Steve.

Lynn graduated from Watertown High School in Watertown, Massachusetts. She immediately entered the working world and recently retired as a Realtor with Remax Excellence in Kennett Square, PA. Lynn has been married to her husband Manny for 46 years. Manny holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Babson College, and retired as a Regional Vice President for Pilot Freight Services in 2020. They have two beautiful daughters, Michelle and Whitney. Michelle graduated from AMDA in New York City in 2003, and she currently works for Conde Nast in NYC as a Senior Director of Client Services. Her and her husband Shane have two beautiful boys, Graham 11 and Liam 9. Whitney graduated from West Chester University in 2009 with a Bachelor’s in Sales & Marketing and currently works as an Executive Director at J.P Morgan Chase in Wilmington DE. Whitney and her husband Paul have 5 year old, beautiful identical twin girls, Olivia and Mia.

JAY L. MCBEE CPA

Jay and his wife, Mary Ann met Kathy and Tom shortly after their move to Florida and became close friends early on.

A West Virginia native, Jay is proud to have received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Quantitative Business Management from West Virginia University. While studying, Jay played for the Mountaineer’s rugby team and was a member of Sigma Nu. He graduated Cum Laude from WVU in 1978.

Jay is the Treasurer of the Boys & Girls Club of St. Lucie County. He is also a member of the First United Methodist Church of Port St. Lucie, Florida, the Government Finance Officers’ Association, the Florida Institute of CPAs, and the American Institute of CPAs. Mary Ann is a math teacher at Jensen Beach High School.

Jay’s 2 sons, Jacob and Jordan, both graduated from St. Lucie West Centennial High School. Jacob went on to earn a Bachelors Degree in civil engineering, graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Florida and subsequently received his master’s degree in Coastal & Ocean Engineering. He is currently working for a coastal Engineering firm. Jordan graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Florida and graduated with honors from the University College of London (UK) with a master’s degree in International Economics and International Relations.
